Foods ranked by Nutrient Score
The Nutrient Score is the dial on every food page. Each nutrient with a reference intake is judged against the food's share of a day's calories: nutrients to get more of score well when a food gives more than its calorie share, and nutrients to limit, such as salt, saturated fat and sugar, score well when it gives less. The score is the average of those verdicts, and only foods with at least eight scored nutrients are ranked.
